Medical and health information provided by you or your medical Practitioner is sensitive information and is used to assess your health and wellbeing and determine the best possible care plan or service to suit your needs.
Sensitive information can be: –
- genetic data relating to the inherited or acquired genetic characteristics which give unique information about a person’s physiology or the health of that natural person
- data concerning health which reveals information about your health status, including both physical and mental health and the provision of health care services
We may also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
- Our web management company Otis Creative from otiscreative.co.uk for analytical purposes by cookie identifiers where you have used the Let’s Grow website
- Mailchimp.com is our email marketing platform who store your emails where you have provided your email address to Let’s Grow Wellbeing for subscriptions. This is used for mailing lists or invitations to workshops or promotions.
- From other clients /service provider/ medical practitioner or charity who may refer you to our services
- Your insurance/legal or health representatives or other third-party members by you.

How we store your personal information
Your personal and any sensitive hard copy information is securely stored in a locked filing cabinet in private secure premises.
Email correspondence is stored electronically and is password protected.
Any information stored electronically such as customer feedback forms, testimonials, surveys, mailshots or questionnaires or contracts, video session recordings will be stored electronically which is password protected and any personal file names are encrypted with initials and customer number.
Every effort is made to ensure the safety of your data.
We will keep your data for a minimum of 7 years after which time it will be destroyed if no longer required for the lawful purposes for when it was obtained.
If you consent to marketing, any information we use for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us you no longer wish to receive this information.
How your data is deleted
Hard copies will be shredded by company’s shredding machine.
All electronic files including text and emails will be deleted.
